Natasha is absolutely incredible — I couldn't recommend her more! We did the puppy classes with her, and she taught not only my puppy but, more importantly, me so much. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
We enrolled Max at Heartful Hound when he was still a tiny puppy, and it was honestly one of the best decisions we could have made. Since starting puppy school, he has overcome so many fears, learnt discipline, and developed such wonderful manners, including learning not to chew on things he shouldn't! Tash is truly a phenomenal trainer. Her patience, knowledge, and love for the dogs shine through in every session, and Max absolutely adores her. We always look forward to the next phase of training because of how positive and rewarding the experience has been. We constantly receive compliments about how well-behaved, friendly, and adorable Max is, and we owe so much of that to Heartful Hound. I absolutely love that he confidently knows commands like sit, down, stay, and paw. Thank you, Tash, for helping Max grow into such a happy and well-mannered boy. We couldn't recommend Heartful Hound more highly!
Natasha was honestly a LIFE SAVER in helping deal with our two dogs. Things she fixed: No more biting, no more jumping, no more eating everything in sight. WAY less digging (and an easier way to deal with it). We were able to use what we learned to teach them useful commands like: stop; wait; leave, and even some ones like "where's (name)?" and then they scurry off to find the right person / doggo to bring them back (absolute treat to watch, super cute). We were taught how to call our doggos back to us when they happen to run out the gate, or even escape from the leash! (thank GOODNESS for that one). Best of all (for the doggos, anyway), we were able to find a lot more things to keep their minds busy and keep them out of trouble. And its fun! I never realized how many activities you can do with your dog and how enjoyable it would be! Both of us have truly bonded with our kids on a level we didn't really think possible. The communication is smooth, and we all understand each other. My favourite part about this training was that it was more reward/distract-focused, and not based on punishment. We also learned SO MUCH about a dog's biology, their behaviour and their social cues. (My personal favourite is 'zoomies'!!!). Her method is based on science and peer-reviewed research. Any and all questions we had, no matter how stupid or weird, were answered in full. Honestly you might find yourself becoming a bit of an animal expert yourself 😊 I know this all sounds over-the-top maybe, but once you speak to her, you'll know what I mean. This lady studies canine behaviour and she's also available to help with any questions or concerns you may have LONG after your final session. The kids also got their own bandannas for graduation, and I've never seen prouder pups. Finally, we are busy (and admittedly lazy at times) people, however the program was designed to completely work around that. It's honestly fantastic. The program is designed to help YOU in any way possible so that you and your puppers can have the best relationship possible. Thank you so, so much Natasha. The experience was eye-opening and an absolute pleasure. Needless to say, I highly recommend!
